Khesari Lal Yadav bigg boss 13 Khesari Lal Yadav recently entered Bigg Boss 13 house as a wild card contestant.

Khesari Lal Yadav might be a Bhojpuri sensation but the actor could not make his mark in the last two weeks in Bigg Boss 13. With a simple upbringing and demure personality, Khesari clearly seems to be a misfit on the show.

Before entering Bigg Boss 13, indanexpress.com spoke to Khesari and quizzed him if he will manage to survive the controversial game. He said, “I have survived life and all the hardships it got me. From not having even Rs 10 in my pocket to now touching crores of people’s lives, I have come a long way. And this was an opportunity for me to reach out to more people.”

He added, “Bigg Boss is such a popular show that it will help me increase my national and international reach. I am here to stay and so want to broaden my horizons. Bhojpuri industry is my motherland, and I would keep doing more regional films. But I also want to reach out to a bigger audience.”

When asked to share his game strategy, Khesari said, “I will never change my ideologies for anyone. I will go with dignity and come back with dignity. I will never hurt anyone to win the show. I don’t want to come across in a wrong light that after the show, I don’t even get work offers (laughs).”

Sharing that he did not get much time to analyse the contestants, the 33-year-old said, “I was in London for my shoot and then got busy with dubbing. I didn’t want my producers to suffer in my absence. But to tell you honestly, it doesn’t really matter as I am going to Bigg Boss to win my audience’s heart and not the housemates.”

When asked if being a superstar in the Bhojpuri industry will help him gain more votes, he said, “If the people keep loving and supporting me, then definitely yes. I just hope the audience keeps showering me with prayers and good wishes.”

During his introduction, Khesari Lal Yadav had called host Salman Khan his elder brother. Sharing more about the Bajrangi Bhaijaan star, he said, “He is an icon, a superstar and I feel privileged that I got to even share the podium with him. I have heard that he scolds contestants when they go wrong, and I feel it’s needed. Salman bhai has seen more life than us and he has the right to pull anyone of us.”
