KBC 11: Sushma Singh Chauhan won Rs 3,20,000.
Thursday’s rollover contestant Sushma Singh Chauhan resumed playing Kaun Banega Crorepati 11 on Friday’s episode. She played well until eleventh question worth Rs 6,40,000 and used only two of her lifelines. But she got the answer of the twelfth question wrong and her winning amount came down to Rs 3,20,000.
The Rs 12,50,000 question that Sushma failed to answer was, ‘According to the Puranas, which sage’s curse led to King Parikshit, son of Abhimanyu, getting bitten by the serpent Takshak?’ Options were–Kashyapa Rishi, Agastya Rishi, Shringi Rishi and Gautama Rishi.
Though she had the option to either flip the question or Ask the Expert, she prefered to not use her lifelines and gave the answer as Agastya Rishi which was incorrect. The correct answer was Shringi Rishi. With this, Sushma took home Rs 3,20,000.
Friday’s episode also hosted actor Sakshi Tanwar and Shyam Sunder Paliwal who was awarded Nirlam Gram Award by APJ Abdul Kalam. They were seen in the Karamveer special segment of the show. Together, they won Rs 25 lakh by the end of the episode.
