Karanveer Mehra reveals he is yet to get Bigg Boss 18 prize money, says ‘I am getting compliments for cleansing the show’
On a recent podcast, Bigg Boss 18 winner Karanveer Mehra shared how he elevated the image of the Salman Khan-hosted reality show.

Bigg Boss 18 winner Karanveer Mehra recently appeared on Bharti Singh’s podcast, where he reflected on his journey on the Salman Khan-hosted show and shared details about his prize money. Karanveer, who won Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 before Bigg Boss 18, revealed that he had already received the prize money for the Rohit Shetty-hosted show, and the car he won was expected to be delivered in a few days.
Talking about Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 being his very first show with Colors, Karanveer said, “Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 was my first show with Colors. Now I don’t intend to leave this channel. Colors makes you a name. 50 lakhs is the winning amount for Bigg Boss 18 and it’s yet to come. Khatron Ke Khiladi 14’s money has come, and the car that I won is going to arrive in a few days. I didn’t get the chance earlier, so I got it booked now.”
When asked if his Bigg Boss 18 victory was scripted, he joked that winning the trophy cost him his car and house. “It was all God’s plan. Everyone has contributed in some way to my victory. I was having fun inside and wasn’t looking to win. My weekly total was sorted, so winning or losing didn’t matter much. It’s a personality show, and mine appealed to the audience. It’s not about being more or less. Even if I came second, I wouldn’t have been a different person. I felt for a while that I was going to win. The love I am getting after Bigg Boss is too overwhelming. I am spending a lot of time with fans, especially the aunties who have been blessing me a lot.”
Karanveer Mehra also revealed that he has elevated Bigg Boss’ image with his gameplay on the reality show. “The only thought in my mind was that my mother was watching, hence I never resorted to swearing or getting into physical fights. I had even told the makers that I would get the trophy peacefully and wouldn’t do anything unnecessarily. Bigg Boss was known for some other reasons, but I am getting compliments for cleansing the show. Now a lot of actors are wanting to do the show. The journey started late for me, but it was in a very good space,” he said.
On the podcast, Karanveer also hinted at an upcoming OTT film and shared his plans to revive his YouTube channel.
