Karan Singh Grover was ‘genuinely in love’ with Jennifer Winget during Dill Mill Gaye: ‘Otherwise, why get married?’

Siddharth recalled Karan as a “very charming man” who could “charm anyone.” He continued, “He was, then and now, a good looking man, a charming man and of course, he had women flocking towards him and he fell in love. He genuinely fell in love with her. Otherwise why would he gotten married? They got married.” The marriage fell apart just a couple of years later.

After appearing in Dill Mill Gaye, Karan Singh Grover appeared in Qubool Hai and did a few films, but his movie career never took off. When asked if he “lost his way” in his later years, Siddharth P Malhotra said, “A lot was going on in his life. With success, a lot comes into your life. I don’t know if he ‘lost his way’ is the right term but of course, things didn’t go the way they should have gone.” He added, “If he worked on his stardom then, it would have helped him. But these are learnings we all go through in life.”

In an earlier chat with Siddharth Kannan, Jennifer Winget spoke about her divorce and said, “I am so thankful that this situation happened. I realised that there is so much more that I have to offer. I found this new life, and became Jennifer 2.0. When I look back at it, it was the best time of my life. At that time it didn’t feel so, but whatever happened happened and I’m so much better now.”

Karan Singh Grover is now married to Bipasha Basu. They are parents to daughter Devi.
