Pawandeep Rajan once again undergoes multiple surgeries after road accident.
Popular singer and Indian Idol Season 12 winner Pawandeep Rajan remains under intensive care following a serious road accident earlier this month in Uttar Pradesh. The incident occurred near Moradabad while Rajan was en route to Delhi to catch a flight for a scheduled event in Ahmedabad. His SUV reportedly collided with a stationary canter truck, resulting in severe injuries, including multiple fractures and a head injury. According to the latest update shared by his team on Instagram, Pawandeep recently underwent three additional surgeries — bringing the total to at least four since the accident on May 5. The singer remains in the ICU but is said to be in the early stages of recovery.
“Pawan has undergone 3 more surgeries yesterday. Early morning he was taken into the OT and after 8 long hours all his remaining fractures were operated [on] successfully. Though he is still in ICU under observation and will remain there for few more days,” read the Instagram story. The story also conveyed a note of cautious optimism: “As doctor rightly said, now the healing & recovery process has started, let’s just pray for his speedy recovery. Once again, thank you everyone for all the blessings and prayers.”
The note was shared on Instagram by Pawandeep ‘s team.
Just a few days earlier, Pawandeep Rajan’s close friend Govind Digari had also posted a health update along with a photo from the hospital, sparking an outpouring of concern and well wishes from fans and fellow artistse.
He was initially taken to a local hospital after the crash, but was later shifted to a specialized facility in Noida for advanced treatment due to the severity of his injuries.
