The actor is seen on SonyLiv show Adrishyam and was also a part of Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan last year. Talking about being relevant in the industry and how selective he can afford to be with his choices, Eijaz said, “There was a time during Covid when I couldn’t understand what I should do, I took a conscious decision to do Bigg Boss then. I discovered my strengths and weaknesses, instead of winning the show, I won someone very beautiful. For me, I define my success by having the freedom of choice and what to do with my time. I am 48 now, I don’t know how many years will I be in my prime. I want to make the best of every day.”

Eijaz also addressed facing personal issues and how they have shaped him into the man he is today. “Evolving is a process of life, in that moment you feel you know everything and then you realize you have only been making mistakes. Then you start wisening up, the foundations have to be demolished and you have to build on it again because your belief system is so wrong.”

He continues, “As a human being what I have realized is every journey for me now is inward. I have disciplined my mind and I am not saying that I have been able to do so. I have my good days, bad days, and worst days, and I am on medication. I went through a few challenging situations in my life recently, coming to terms with what is in my control and what isn’t, and how I deal with that has been a huge learning curve. I now align my life with a greater purpose, which is the betterment of the people who love me and treasure me. That has given me ample opportunity to grow more. The point is to try not to hurt anyone consciously and live a good life.”

During the conversation, Eijaz also revisited a life-changing moment for him when he realized he did the same things that irritated him about his father. He said, “When I realized that I was saying the same dialogues and doing everything that irritated me about my father. That’s when I realized that my father did all the things to the best of his knowledge for us. That time I didn’t realize it, but now I do.”
