How well do you know the actors you watch on the television screen? You have either seen them in their most melodramatic avatar in a soap opera or behind-the-camera when they post their personal pictures or walk the red carpet at an award function. But that might be all that you know of them, until some gossip mills tell you about their alleged love life. Well, there is much more to these television celebs. Most of them are qualified to slip into parallel professions easily when required. 1. Ram Kapoor
Ram Kapoor is popular for his role in Bade Achche Lagte Hain opposite Sakshi Tanwar. He has a master in acting from Los Angeles.
Before establishing herself as the ideal bahu and beti from Yeh Hai Mohabbatein she had won a lot of medals for rifle shooting. She also did a course in mountaineering from the Nehru Institute of Mountaineering in Uttarkashi.
3. Karan Patel
Raman Bhalla of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein completed his education from Mithibai college in Mumbai and later went on to do his post-graduation from The London School Of Arts.
4. Nishigandha Wad
She is known for her appearance in popular Hindi television series including Sasural Simar Ka. She has a doctorate from the University of Mumbai, who is also known for her research on Changing Role of Women In Society – Reflections from Marathi and British Theaters.
5. Tejaswi Prakash Wayangankar
Tejaswi Prakash Wayangankar is currently playing a lead role in the TV show, Swaragini. This small screen bahu holds a degree in electronics and telecommunications engineering.
6. Samir Soni
Fashion actor Samir Soni is an MBA graduate from the entertainment industry. Samir was a professional before taking up modelling and acting as his career.
7. Karan V Grover
He plays the on-screen husband of Ridhima and might be an apt comrade-in-arm for the lady. Not only Karan is an ace performer, the young man is a chemical engineer in real life.
8. Ridhima Pandit
Ridhima rose to fame with her TV show, Bahu Hamari Rajni Kant. She holds a masters degree in Sociology and a post graduation degree in event management.
9. Deepika Singh
Deepika Singh made her debut with the TV series, Diya Aur Baati Hum. She also has a Masters in Business Administration in Marketing from Punjab Technical University.
10. Sharad Kelkar
One of the most good looking men on Indian television, Sharad Kelkar completed his MBA in marketing before joining the entertainment industry.
