Chetanya Adib joins Siya Ke Ram

Chetanya Adib will next be seen playing Jatayu’s character in popular mythological show “Siya Ke Ram”.

Actor Chetanya Adib, best known for his roles in shows like “Saat Phere – Saloni Ka Safar” and “Balika Vadhu”, will next be seen playing Jatayu’s character in popular mythological show “Siya Ke Ram”.

Jatayu was a vulture in Ramayana who helped Lord Ram and Lakshman in finding Sita and to fight with Ravan.

“This is my mythological debut and I couldn’t have asked for a better role than Jatayu to begin with,” Chetanya said in a statement.

Explaining Jatayu’s role in Ramayana, Chetanya said: “All people know is that Jatayu met Ram when Ravan kidnapped Sita but what they don’t know is that Jatayu knew Raja Dashrath and his four sons ever since they were learning the art of dhanurvidya (archery) at Guru Vashisht’s Ashram.”
