Model-turned-actress Poulomi Das was evicted from Bigg Boss OTT 3 last night. Her eviction happened after the ‘Baharwala’ in the show picked her name. Leaving the Bigg Boss house, Poulomi spoke to Indianexpress.com about her experience on the show, commented on her ‘unfair’ eviction, and accepted that she had formed a wrong opinion about Vada Pav girl Chandrika Dixit. Most importantly, Poulomi shared her opinion on Armaan Malik’s two marriages with Payal Malik and Kritika sharing her views on the same.

Talking about her eviction, Poulomi Das said, “I am extremely deserving to be on that show. If the Baharwala didn’t have the power to evict, I would still be on the show. I trust my audience. Also, I didn’t meddle in others affairs…” For those who don’t know, the two most notorious instances of Poulomi in that house were her ugly fight with Shivani Kumari, and the other where Anil Kapoor slammed her for judging Vada Pav girl Chandrika Dixit.

Addressing both these issues, Poulomi shared, “I had judged Chandrika before going on the show, and not just me, a lot of other people also judged her. Sometimes we make a perception based on what we see on social media, but that is not always 100 per cent true. I had formed an opinion, that I didn’t like her after I saw her social media videos. Inside the house I realized that she is a very kind woman, she has seen a lot of struggles in the house. Her journey in life has been very tough. A few days before the Weekend Ka Vaar, I had already apologized to Chandrika; I found a friend in her.”

Poulomi also spoke about Shivani and said, “Shivani is not what she shows herself to be. She made fun of my skin tone. Deepakji loves Shivani, but she makes fun of his illness. She speaks ill of Ranvir Shorey, who is such a senior actor. She pushed me, then passed racist comments on me, and judged me for wearing a bikini. I will not accept being shamed. I was 13 when I started working, I earn my own money, so when people tell me something, they should first see the hard work I have done. I just didn’t wake up and walk into this life.”

Giving her take on Armaan Malik and his two wives Payal and Kritika, Poulomi said, “I have a great deal of respect for one of them, that is Payal. If she hadn’t understood and accepted Armaan’s marriage to Kritika, they wouldn’t have been together. The way Payal treats Kritika, they are sautans (co-wives), but she has never seen her like that. She takes care of little things about Kritika.” When asked about Payal claiming to be Armaan’s priority, despite him being smitten with the other wife, Poulomi Das added, “Kritika is not as mature as Payal, she wants attention from Armaan all the time. For Payal, she can shine without Armaan too.”

She says that she is still determined to buy a house in Mumbai despite the early eviction from Bigg Boss house, “I still wish to buy a house in Mumbai. I will buy that house for my parents.”
