Big Boss has always been a hit. People are curious about what the show has in store this year. When it comes to Big Boss 10, some of the celebrities are giving out their names while some are not ready to speak about the show hosted by Salman Khan. The recent trailer makes it clear that this season, the show is not just about the known faces but also about the commoners.
Salman Khan’s Big Boss promo has answered many questions but the audience is still curious. In order to answer some of those, we spoke to Bollywood PR guru Dale Bhagwagar who has looked after the publicity of many talked about faces such as Mandana Karimi, Rakhi Sawant, Ashmit Patel, Veena Malik and more. His tactics has helped them to stay in the show longer.
“Big Boss is edited not scripted,” Dale responds when asked if the show is actually a ‘real’ show or not. He says that it is difficult to show everything in those 45 minutes. The team thus decides what to show and what not to. They depict the contestant according to the TRP they give them. On asking if the eviction is done on the basis of content and TRP or plainly according to the number of votes, Dale laughed and said “no comments” leaving it for us to understand.
Dale tells us how he interacts with his clients inside the house. He has some code words for different contestants, like for Sonali Raut of Big Boss 8, he used the secret word ‘Superman’ to connect to her. He told Sonali to get close to Upen Patel in order to get publicity. He also says that he manipulates a lot of media promotion for his clients. “Audience had no idea that Mandana knew Salman Khan as I had requested various websites to take down all her photographs with him,” tells Dale. He also asked Mandana to stand up for herself at every moment, no matter how petty the issue is.
He believes that Big Boss 10 will be a hit as it will connect with the rural audience. They will accept the show. The auditions has already created the buzz in small cities. He further tells that this season will have no restrictions. “Celebrities have to think about their image, name but these commoners will have no such image to maintain. They will speak whatever they want to,” says Dale.
On asking why did Aman Verma called the show scripted, Dale using ‘sour grapes’ phrase explained it all.
The recent videos show us some faces. However, some other speculated names this season are that of Bani J, Rahul Raj Singh, Armaan Jain along with some common faces.
