Bigg Boss 19: Gaurav Khanna’s wife Akansha Chamola says Anupamaa actor doesn’t come home, calls him a workoholic

Bigg Boss 19 contestants have been facing a roller-coaster of emotions on the Salman Khan-hosted show as it’s the family week. On Monday, Ashnoor Kaur was paid a visit by her father, Gurmeet Singh, Kunickaa Sadanand’s son, Ayaan Lall, and her granddaughters also appeared on the show. On Tuesday, Gaurav Khanna’s wife, Akanksha Chamola, joined the Anupamaa actor in the house. While on the show, Akanksha made some fun revelations about Gaurav Khanna and shared how the actor loves his work.

Like every year, this year too, the contestants are playing the game of freeze-release as their family members enter the show. While the families are spending the night in the Bigg Boss 19 house, Gaurav’s wife stated upon her entry that she would just be around for a few hours as she has to go back to shoot. Exuding a fun vibe, Akanksha also interacted with Parnit More and asked him to make her laugh. She said, “You all are looking very good. Pranit, you have to make me laugh. I am just here to party.”

Further talking about her husband with the housemates, Akanksha said, “Gaurav is very innocent.” She later thanked Bigg Boss and said, “I feel like the amount of household work my husband didn’t do in 10 years of our marriage, Bigg Boss has made him do that much work in three months.” Akanksha later told Pranit, “Gaurav doesn’t party at all; he is a weird human being. He works a lot, so he will not want to come back home at all. This guy doesn’t come home. After we were newly married, I would keep waiting for him, and he kept working on set for 18 hours.”

Akanksha on her love story with Gaurav Khanna

Later, Akanksha also asked Bigg Boss to release her husband from the freeze position and threatened to kiss him on national television if he didn’t. When Bigg Boss didn’t release Gaurav, Akanksha planted a kiss on his lips, leaving the other housemates laughing. As shown in the live feed, Akanksha also shared their love story with Ashnoor and Pranit. She recalled meeting Gaurav at an audition and said, “It was a moment where we immediately noticed each other. Gaurav didn’t end up giving that audition because he was busy talking to me. Very smoothly, he took my number, and later he would keep dropping me off at audition venues and would wait outside for me.”

While on the show, Gaurav Khanna has not shared much about his married life. He once spoke about wanting to start a family; however, his wife, Akanksha, wasn’t ready to take the responsibility of a child. Recently, during a weekend episode when an astrologer entered the show, she told Gaurav Khanna that his wife is actually thinking about having a baby seriously.

Gaurav Khanna married TV actress Akanksha Chamola in November 2016 in Kanpur. The couple also celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary on Bigg Boss 19.
