Bigg Boss 18’s evicted contestant Shehzada Dhami says he has changed ‘false’ perception Rajan Shahi created about him: ‘People have seen me’

In an exclusive interview, Shehzada Dhami said he wants to burst Vivian Dsena's bubble about being the 'Bigg Boss ka ladla', would have had a massive showdown if he wasn't evicted.

After spending almost a month on Bigg Boss 18, actor Shehzada Dhami got evicted from the show this weekend. While the former Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actor’s game had been dull on the show, Shehzada believes he has given his best in the game. In an exclusive interview with SCREEN, Shehzada says he has been flooded with work after his exit from Bigg Boss 18 and claims that he managed to correct the false perception that Rajan Shahi created about him. Shehzada also shared that he wanted to burst Vivian Dsena’s bubble about being the ‘ladla’ on the Salman Khan-hosted show.

Talking about his eviction, Shehzada said, “It was nice, but the eviction was unexpected and disappointing. I am very surprised that it happened so soon. I didn’t understand, because a lot of others deserved to be evicted instead of me. I was very neutral about the game. I did my best, but I don’t know how much was shown. I was not at all dull in the game, but fighting unnecessarily on stupid issues is not my style.”

Commenting on the groupism in the house, Shehzada also said that no one is loyal in that house. “There is groupism in the house for sure, but no one is going to stand for the other within those groups. There is no unity in them, and it will show in some time. I would have exposed their real faces one by one. I had issues with Vivian and we would have had a showdown if I was not eliminated.”

Shehzada Dhami also shared how this ‘ladla’ tag from the makers has gone to Vivian Dsena’s head. He shared, “I am not sure if the makers are biased towards Vivian Dsena, but yes, the ‘ladla’ tag has been taken very seriously by Vivian. He is living in a bubble, abusing that tag and thinking he can do anything, and talk to anyone the way he wants. I was on my way to burst that bubble for him.”

Shehzada also praised Shilpa Shirodkar but went on to call her diplomatic. He added, “I nominated her because she has gotten stuck between Karan and Vivian and forgotten her game. She needs to focus on her game, she is strong and I tried to explain this to her. She is a nice lady and I respect her too much.”

Commenting on his threat to Rajat Dalal, Shehzada added what escalated that fight. He said, “I just gave him an empty threat to shut him up. I just wanted to provoke him and it didn’t mean anything. But after that, his behavior changed. I am not scared of anybody; I can deal with them at the tip of my fingers. I am fond of Rajat, I hope he plays well.”

Shehzada also clarified that there was nothing between him and Nyrraa Banerji. “No there was no truth to that. Any relationship has mutual respect even if it’s friendship, that was the same with Nyrraa. But when we bonded well and sat together, he would comment that we needed personal time with each other, I stopped him once and told him I didn’t like it. One day Nyrraa and I were twinning, so he started teasing us again. It had started to bother Nyrraa which is why I nominated him. That escalated into a fight, but my point was he was unnecessarily dragging a girl’s name. He started getting abusive, which progressed into threats.”

Lastly, Shehzada Dhami also addressed the perception Rajan Shahi had created about him. Calling it false, Shehzada assured that he has been getting lots of work after the show. “That perception created by Rajan Shahi is not creating any issues for me in getting work. I am flooded with work ever since I have come out from Bigg Boss, I don’t have time. You don’t become what someone says about you, everyone has seen my behavior, the way I talk, and also how I respect elders. As a person, the audience has gotten to know that what Shehzada was projected to be is not true.”
