One of the biggest superstars on Indian television, actor Vivian Dsena bagged the second spot on Bigg Boss 18. He was defeated by his co-contestant Karanveer Mehra who took home a diamond-studded trophy and Rs 50 lakhs prize money. Now in an exclusive interview with SCREEN, Vivian revealed why he chose to do Bigg Boss this year and how he has changed as a person over the years.

He said, “My wife told me that I had been in my comfort zone for very long and it was time to challenge myself. So, she pushed me to be a part of Bigg Boss and here I am. God has been kind I have won so many hearts, not lost anything. Whatever happens, happens for the best. We don’t get to know at that time, but in the future we do. I know Nouran has worked very hard and has been a big support in my entire journey. She has always been my backbone; you guys are just seeing her in the forefront.”

He also added, “Change is inevitable, and it is constant in this universe. We grow up to be somebody from somebody. A person goes through a journey, it is not a mandate that everybody should know or would possibly be aware of what a person has gone through. But if a person has become somebody there has to be a reason. If you expect a person to be seen in a certain way, it means you don’t want to see the real person but a character in him or her. I am somebody who cannot sleep at night if I am not speaking my mind. There were times when I didn’t like a few people at certain instances but that didn’t stop me from feeding them or cook for them.”

Sharing the moment that changed him as a person, Vivian added, “Holding Layaan in my hands for the first time changed me as a person. I heard something in the background, that sound that came was that you are a responsible human being. At some point of time, we have an ego; some accept that, some don’t. I dropped my ego, and when you do that people love you more. Every experience in life is a big lesson.”

Talking about his upcoming work, Vivian shared, “I have never planned anything in my life nor announced something unless I am ready with it. The future is in the hands of God. I can promise that my next one will be better than the previous one. During Sirf Tum also a lot of people said how would I look like a college guy, but the rest is history.”
