Bigg Boss 11: Dhinchak Pooja gets eliminated from the Salman Khan show. The internet sensation garnered a lot of attention during her short stint. Be it her lice issue, her cringe-worthy song or her love angle with Luv Tyagi, Pooja did manage to entertain the masses.
Bigg Boss 11: Host Salman Khan would definitely miss Dhinchak Pooja as he had gotten used to pulling her leg every weekend.
It had only been a couple of weeks since Dhinchak Pooja entered the Bigg Boss 11 house with much pomp and show. The internet sensation was expected to create a stir with her antics but all that has come to an early end as she is the latest contestant to get evicted. Pooja Jain (popular as Dhinchak Pooja) was nominated along with Hiten Tejwani, Priyank Sharma, Sapna Chaudhary, Shilpa Shinde, Hina Khan, Benafsha Soonawalla, Sabyasachi Satpathy and Bandgi Kalra. Although the buzz was that Sabyasachi would be ousted but it looks like Pooja’s inactive self made her the victim of the elimination.
This week, the nomination was also quite unique when two contestants were asked to mutually decide upon one of them getting nominated. Pooja was summoned along with Arshi Khan, and without a thought the young girl decided to sacrifice herself for her friend. May be Pooja had faith in her fans but they deeply disappointed her.
Interestingly, as per the poll run by indianexpress.com, Bandgi seemed the obvious choice for this eviction. It’s her love track with Puneesh Sharma that has kept the couple surviving for so long. Sabyasachi, who is hardly seen during the episodes but has somehow managed to survive uptil now, was a strong contender for getting eliminated this week. Host Salman Khan would definitely miss Pooja as he had gotten used to pulling her leg every weekend.
Even though it was a short stint for Pooja in the Bigg Boss house, she did garner a lot of attention. While her cringe-worthy songs got the housemates to make fun of her, the young girl’s presence created a havoc when housemates realised she had lice in her hair. She was mocked and rebuked until Hiten and Shilpa got her to use medicines to solve the crisis. Pooja was also asked by Bigg Boss to compose a viral song on the show and the housemates and the girl was ready to roll. Even though the song was devoid of rhythm and tune it was indeed entertaining. Her love angle with co-contestant Luv Tyagi was also just starting to bloom.
The show was indeed a great chance for this YouTube star to reach out to the masses and Pooja had shared the same with indianexpress.com before entering the house, “Bigg Boss is a big platform for me and I am really looking forward to have a fun time. All this while, I have found a lot of fame but never got a chance to interact with my fans or even show them who the real Pooja is. This is the biggest reality show on television and definitely a big opportunity for me.”
