Over the past few weeks, there have been multiple reports suggesting that Khatron Ke Khiladi might be cancelled. It was claimed that Banijay Asia had pulled out of its partnership with Colors TV, which put the new season of the stunt-based reality show and Bigg Boss in jeopardy. Now SCREEN has learned that these reality shows will happen but at a later date.
A source close to the shows said, “Bigg Boss and Khatron Ke Khiladi may find a new home on Sony TV due to creative differences between the channel and the production house.” Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 is likely to air by the end of September, while Bigg Boss 19 could premiere towards the end of October.
As for Bigg Boss OTT, which was originally slated for a June release, the season is still happening. However, it has been delayed and is now expected to premiere in late July or August.
