Ashneer Grover’s appearance on MTV Roadies promo stumps fans, some call it ‘Match made in heaven’
In the latest video of MTV Roadies, fans were in surprise as they caught a glimpse of Shark Tank India fame Ashneer Grover. They were also excited about Shiv Thakare's supposed special appearance.

After leaving budding entrepreneurs nervous with his comments, Ashneer Grover is all set to do the same, this time with Roadies aspirants. The former Shark Tank India judge will be seen as a guest in one of the episodes of Roadies 19: Karm ya Kaand. His appearance in the show’s new promo left fans stumped, some even questioning his presence and choice of projects.
The new promo gives a glimpse of the dramatic audition rounds where gang leaders Prince Narula, Rhea Chakraborty, and Gautam Gulati are bidding for contestants. Their war of words makes Rhea and Gautam threaten to walk out of the show. Ashneer, who makes a brief appearance, can be heard telling a contestant, “Bheek hi mang raha hai na. Bhai le lo mereko (you’re begging to be selected, that please take me).”
One of the contestants in this ‘auction round’ is seen wearing former Roadies and Bigg Boss 16 finalist Shiv Thakare’s mask. While his face is not revealed, given his voice and body structure, fans are assured that Shiv would also make an appearance during the episode. Contestants are also trying different tricks in a bid to be selected. While one carries Rhea on her shoulders to prove her strength, another gives a kiss on Gautam’s cheeks. A few also show off their well-sculpted body.

While most of the comments on the post are by excited Shiv Thakare’s fans, a few are also wondering what Ashneer is doing on the show. Some of the comments for him read, “Ashneer kaha se aagya…”, “@ashneer.grover sir kis line m aa gye aap (what kind of shows have you picked)?” and “Ashneer or Roadies jaise chai k sath pakode…match made in heaven”. A fan also wrote, “Le fans to ashneer grover– bhai kya kar raha hai tu 😂😂😂😂.”
Sonu Sood stepped into Rannvijay Singha’s place last season as the host of MTV Roadies. This season, makers have brought back the format of gang leaders with Prince Narula, Rhea Chakraborty and Gautam Gulati taking charge. Youngsters from Delhi, Pune, Indore and Pune auditioned for the show, and only a few will take an adventure ride with the team.
Starting June 3, Roadies Karm Ya Kand will air on MTV and also stream on Jio Cinema.
