Ever since the promos of Bigg Boss season 10 came out, there have been bigger speculations about the celebrities who’ll be participating this year. And while we saw several names popping up, one of them was of Kabir Bedi. It did make us happy, considering the veteran actor is still as dashing as he was decades back. And as much as we would love to have him inside the house, we awaited a confirmation about it. Now, Kabir Bedi has himself reacted to the reports. Well, sadly, he isn’t going to be a part of it.
Bigg Boss is known to have the most controversial celebrities participating in the show. And Kabir Bedi’s name coming up wasn’t of any surprise. His life has always caught media attention and been full of controversies. His marriage to Parveen Dusanj on his 70th birthday, and the subsequent outburst from daughter Pooja Bedi grabbed limelight too. This was Kabir’s fourth marriage and Pooja had called her new stepmother a ‘wicked witch’ and that she had drawn a wedge between a father and a daughter. Kabir had, in turn, slammed Pooja for her ‘venomous comment’. Pooja has also been a contestant on Bigg Boss season five. So much happening within the same family! Doesn’t it make Kabir the perfect choice to be on the show? Well, maybe. But Kabir doesn’t think so. Through his Twitter handle, he personally rejected all the reports of being a Bigg Boss contestant, at least not on this season. He wrote “Some film journalists have “listeḍ” me among the BIG BOSS entrants. Terribly sorry, just noṭ true. Not gonna happen 😊#BigBoss”.
Kabir, who was last seen in the period drama Mohenjo Daro. He was enlisted among other names like Shiney Ahuja, Sana Saeed, Rahul Raj Singh and Sunil Grover, as probable celebrities on the tenth season of Bigg Boss, which will begin next month, and have Salman Khan as its host.
