Abdu Rozik says Salman Khan called to congratulate him on his engagement: ‘Look forward to having my bada bhaijaan at my wedding’

Abdu, 20, is engaged to Amira, 19, who lives in Sharjah. He shared that the two met at an Italian restaurant in Dubai. “Amira is so kind-hearted, understanding, and respectful,” he said, and added, “When we talked to each other, I felt she had all the qualities I wanted in a wife. After a few months, I expressed my feelings, telling her I wanted to marry her. And she agreed.”

Abdu is yet to share the pictures of his fiance and when asked about this, he said that he has never shared photos of his other female family members either, as they choose to live a private life. “Amira and I come from a conservative culture. I’m sure people have noticed I’ve never shared my mother or sister’s pictures on social media as well. They prefer to remain private,” he said.

Previously, Abdu had addressed the trolls who made fun of him for his height. He said that while he is 115cm and his fiance is 155 cm, the height difference has never come in the way of their love for each other. He told ETimes that his engagement was not a “PR strategy” and added, “Maybe people find it hard to believe that a small guy like me has found love.”
