Vidhi Madhi Ultaa audio launch: Janani Iyer turns singer for this Rameez Raja film

Vidhi Madhi Ultaa is helmed by Vijaibalaji and stars Rameez Raja and Janani Iyer. The film has music composed by newcomer Ashwin Vinayagamoorthy. Produced by Rameez, the film also stars Daniel Balaji, Karunakaran amid others.

Vidhi Madhi Ultaa’s leading lady Janani Iyer has also turned singer for the film! In an interesting revelation at the event, the music director has said the leading lady Janani Iyer has sung a small part in the album as well.

“Janani is a really good singer. On the sets, when we asked her to sing, she sang “Vaseegara” for us. I wanted to use her voice for the album,” said Ashwin Vinayagamoorthy, the film’s music director.

Vidhi Madhi Ultaa, directed by Vijaibalaji starring Rameez Raja and Janani Iyer had a live show on Saturday to launch the film’s sound track at Chennai. Vidhi Madhi Ultaa has music composed by Ashwin Vinayagamoorthy, who has earlier scored for Gayathri Raghuram’s Yaadhumagi Nindrai. The film has three songs and two reprises, including a number that has been visualised on the film’s comedians.

The song list comprises of “Thaaru Maaru” “Un Nerukkam”, and “Boss Song” sung by some famous names such as Sid Sriram, Chinmayi, Gaana Bala amid others. The single “Un Nerukkam” sung by Chinmayi and Sid Sriram has already been launched with the video receiving good feedback. The event had performances by Ashwin, Chinmayi and Gaana Bala.

Vidhi Madhi Ultaa is also being produced by Rameez Raja, the hero of the movie. The film also stars Daniel Balaji, Karunakaran and Senrayan among others. Talking at the event, the director said, “There’s a reason we have named this film Vidhi Madhi Ultaa. People generally say that you don’t get what you aspire for but that’s not the case. I’m sure our movie would be received well.”

He further added that the film’s background score would be much appreciated. “Ashwin is very talented and also open to suggestions. When people see the film, I’m sure they would not realise that the music has been done by a newcomer,” he said.

Janani is also part of the upcoming horror flick Balloon. Directed by Sinish, the film also stars Jai and Anjali.
