Varalaxmi Sarathkumar’s husband Nicholai says he and his daughter will take her name: ‘I will be Nicholai Varalaxmi Sarathkumar Sachdev’

He then stated that he and his 15-year-old daughter Kasha will add Varalaxmi’s name to their name and further her and her father’s legacy. He said, “She will always remain and retain her name as Varalaxmi Sarathkumar. I will be taking her name. I will be known as Nicholai Varalaxmi Sarathkumar Sachdev. And so will my daughter. So Sarathkumar and my wife Varalaxmi’s legacy will live on forever. That’s what I am going to do for my wife.”

Varalaxmi initially faced a bit of criticism for being in a relationship with Nicholai, who is divorced. The actor, known for her outspoken nature, had addressed these negative comments, asserting that they won’t affect their relationship. “Even my father married twice; there’s nothing wrong with it as long as he’s happy. I’ve seen how people talk about Nick; he’s handsome in my eyes. I don’t care about people who make negative comments about our relationship. Why should I answer to anyone? From the very beginning, I have avoided doing that,” Varalaxmi told Galatta Tamil, as reported by India Today. Varalaxmi is the eldest daughter of veteran Tamil actor Sarathkumar and his first wife Chaya.

She also shared that Nicholai possesses every quality she was looking for in a life partner, Varalaxmi said, “He makes me laugh, supports my career, and always puts me first. He’s extremely loving, pampering, and fiercely protective of me and his family. We share a love for food; he even completes my sentences. We met 14 years ago, and instantly, there was something, but we didn’t date then. We stayed in touch as friends, and it’s only recently that love blossomed.”
