Looks like Suriya is going to have two festival releases next year. The latest is that the Kollywood A-lister will start shooting for his project with Selvaraghavan in January 2018. The makers have also announced that this film will hit the big screens on Diwali 2018. Suriya’s current project, Thaana Serndha Kootam, will also release during a festival (Pongal 2018).
This film is Suriya’s 36th film and his first film with Selvaraghavan. The project will be bankrolled by Dream Warrior Pictures. While there is no official announcement on the rest of the cast, grapevine suggests that Rakul Preet has been signed on as the leading lady for the project.
Recent reports had also suggested that Suriya is reportedly in talks with Iruthi Sutru fame Sudha Kongara for a project that will be produced by his home venture 2D Entertainment. While there was confusion as to which project will go on floors, it is now clear that Sudha might have to wait slightly longer.
