Tamil actor Simbu is taking a trip to Sabarimala as he continues to struggle with seemingly never-ending problems in his career. It is said that he is taking this pilgrimage tour for the first time in 27 years.
Interestingly, the actor has also seemed to have ironed out the differences with makers of Maanaadu. Producer Suresh Kamatchi seems to have met Simbu at a temple and has come to an agreement with him. The producer tweeted, “STR in Maanaadu. Soon we will announce the shooting dates.”
The latest update comes months after Suresh Kamatchi released a statement, where he announced that Simbu will not be part of the project, for delaying the progress of the film for a long time.
“I’m someone who prefers to stay honest to my profession and execute projects within the stipulated time. But in case of Maanaadu, things refuse to progress and we only lost so much time and effort with the project. So at this juncture, would like to inform you all that Venkat Prabhu and I have decided to make Maanaadu without STR. We will soon officially reveal more details regarding Maanaadu”, Kamatchi had said in a statement to the media.

Following that, seemingly in spite, Simbu announced that he would make Maghaa Maanadu along with his father T Rajendhar. But, the fate of the project remains unknown.
Maanaadu will be directed by Venkat Prabhu. And the filmmakers are expected to soon release details of the remaining cast and crew.
Simbu also recently made headlines for wrong reasons after he allegedly threw tantrums during the shooting of his upcoming film, which is the remake of Kannada film Mufti. Speculations were rife that he was also dropped from the project. However, producer KE Gnanavel Raja rubbished the rumours.
