Murugadoss, however, clarified saying he will only make an original film, should he collaborate with Salman. “Salman has a huge following in Andhra Pradesh too. They would be disappointed to see him doing something they’ve already seen another superstar do. The same report also said he and Murugadoss have agreed to do another film together as soon as he finishes writing a script that satisfies both of them.

The bilingual film marked the debut of Mahesh in Tamil. Actor SJ Suryah has received a unanimous thumbs up from the media and critics for his performance in the main antagonist role that was seemingly inspired by Joker from The Dark Knight. It stars Rakul Preet Singh as female lead.
