The shooting of Gypsy, directed by Joker fame Raju Murugan, has been completed. The film stars Jiiva and former Miss India finalist Natasha Singh in lead roles. According to a source, Gypsy is a travel-based love story and has a socially-relevant theme.
The source further added, “The subject, in fact, has an immense scope for music, though one can’t brand the film as a musical. In the film, Jiiva sports long hair for the role of a modern gypsy.”
We hear that Jiiva was also required to play the guitar in the film, for which he undertook the basic training.
The first look poster, which was released in June this year, raised a lot of expectations because of its design. It featured Jiiva, a white horse, besides Natasha who looked amused by the two. The makers shot Gypsy at different places across the country.
