A complaint has been filed by a couple in Madurai against actor Dhanush accusing him of submitting fake documents in the ongoing paternity case. According to media reports, the couple has claimed that the birth certificate Dhanush submitted in their petition, is fake, and has requested for necessary action. The couple, Kathiresan and Meenakshi, had first made news when they filed a case against the actor saying that he is their son.

The elderly couple from Melur had alleged that Dhanush had run away from their village to become an actor. They also sought financial assistance from him. Dhanush, on the other hand, had submitted documents to prove that he studied in Chennai and also his birth certificate. The court had earlier ruled in Dhanush’s favour quashing the case as no tangible links could be established.

One of the busiest stars in Kollywood, Dhanush was last seen in Soundarya Rajinikanth’s ‘Velaiyilla Pattadhari 2’. The film also featured Kajol and Amala Paul. The actor has also an impressive line up of films with Vetrimaaran’s ‘Vada Chennai’, Gautam Vasudev Menon’s ‘Ennai Nokki Paayum Thotta’, and Balaji Mohan’s ‘Maari 2′. The versatile actor also has his Hollywood film ‘The Extraordinary Journey of The Fakir’. He also recently crooned for Vijay Yesudas’ ‘Padai Veeran’ and also venturing into Malayalam with his production ‘Tharangam’ featuring Tovino Thomas. ‘Tharangam’ hit the screens on September 29. The actor will supposedly start working on his upcoming Hindi film next year.
