We have all been at a point where our phone’s display decides to play peek-a-boo with us, thanks to auto-rotate. Well, you don’t have to face that problem with this video. Launched exclusively for mobile screens, music Anirudh Ravichander’s latest is India’s first ever vertical video. Set to the tune of his single number Bewaja, this video has been conceptualised for users who consume content through their mobile phones.
Apart from being a vertical video, the video also has another special significance. The melody is themed after a few timeless posters from Bollywood. The song is also in Hindi, a surprising move from Anirudh who is known for his Tamil numbers. A feel-good number that is intrinsically from the Anirudh stable, it is tough to not like Bewajah. The flute before the end chorus is especially a nice touch, which otherwise has a lot of tech sounds. The song is sung by Anirudh, Irene and Srinidhi Venkatesh. The song is composed by Anirudh and Irene. Launched on Saturday, the video has almost three million views already.
One of the busiest music composers down south, Anirudh has a list of films coming up. Apart from Suriya’s Thaana Serndha Kootam, the young music composer is also part of Sivakarthikeyan’s Velaikkaran. He is also making his debut in Telugu with Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram’s PSPK 25. A single from the album ‘Baitikochi Chuste’ was unveiled a couple of days back and is trending right now among young listeners.
