Superstar Rajinikanth, having completed the shooting for his upcoming films Jailer and Lal Salaam, is poised to make a comeback to the silver screen after a hiatus of two years. While Jailer, helmed by director Nelson, will feature Thalaivar as the central character, in the second film Lal Salaam, directed by Rajini’s daughter Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth, he will make an extended cameo appearance.

With Jailer scheduled for a theatrical release on August 10, the movie’s makers unveiled the second song from the film on Monday, titled Hukum Tiger Ka Hukum, which celebrated the superstar’s unmatched style and swag. As the song continues to receive positive responses from audiences and has already surpassed five million views on YouTube, generating excitement for the upcoming premiere of Jailer, superstar Rajinikanth is currently taking a well-deserved break from the bustling surroundings. He is relishing a relaxing vacation in the Maldives, away from all distractions, before returning to India for promotional activities.

An image showing Rajinikanth strolling along the beach shores of the Maldives has surfaced on social media. In the picture, Rajini is depicted wearing a maroon t-shirt and black trousers as he leisurely walks along the picturesque terrain.

Other than Rajinikanth Jailer also has some of the biggest names in the Indian film industry. Malayalam superstar Mohanlal and Kannada superstar Shivraj Kumar are also part of the star cast, which include Tamannaah, Sunil, Jackie Shroff, Ramya Krishnan, Vasanth Ravi, Vinayakan, Yogi Babu, and Redin Kingsley.

It was just a week back that director Aishwaryaa revealed Rajinikanth has finished shooting for Lal Salaam. “Making a movie with you is a miracle and you are pure magic appa.. #lalsalaam moideen bhai #anditsawrap🎬 for THE SUPERSTAR,” Aishwaryaa noted on Instagram.

Starring Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in the lead roles, the film also features former Indian cricket team captain Kapil Dev. It was Rajini himself who announced that Kapil would make a cameo appearance in the film.
