A new poster has been released featuring Amy Jackson and it is now confirmed that the svelte actor is playing a robot in the movie. After a few stills from the sets were leaked, there was intense speculation about Amy’s role in the movie. The new poster has Amy in a robot costume, clearing all speculations. And the model turned actor looks fantabulous in her new, no-nonsense avatar.

2.0 is currently one of the biggest projects in Indian cinema and the makers are leaving no stone unturned to package the product well. While the audio launch will happen at a grand event in Dubai, the teaser will be released at an opulent event on November 22 in Hyderabad. Reports also suggest that the trailer will be released on December 12, timed to coincide on Rajinikanth’s birthday. The film has also been making news for using cutting edge cameras to film the movie directly in 3D.

“The filmmakers will start organising promotional events from October. The makers are also planning different types of promotions state-wise down south, which will go on until December end. And from January first week, the makers will ramp up the promotional activities across India,” a source in Lyca Productions had told indiaexpress.com.

Helmed by Shankar, who is synonymous with grandeur, 2.0 has Superstar Rajinikanth and Bollywood A-lister Akshay Kumar in the lead roles. From what we have seen, it looks like Akshay Kumar will be playing a villain in the movie. 2.0 will also mark Akshay’s Kollywood entry. The film will have music by AR Rahman and is produced by Lyca Productions.
