After Dubai got drenched in the colours of 2.0 during its grand music launch, the makers are aiming at making every Rajinikanth fan around the globe feel the fever of the much-awaited film of 2018. The makers released a new poster of the film in which we see Rajinikanth and Amy Jackson in their robotic avatars, making us excited about what more the film has to offer. If looked closely, the poster seems to be a still from Amy and Thaliavar’s song number, which they had recently shot. Well, Amy had given a slight idea about how the track’s choreography is keeping her on the toes. So, we know we can expect something out-of-the-box from the actor.
However, for now, Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar fans are in dilemma. Recently, Akshay announced that his Bollywood film PadMan would be heading to theaters on January 26 next year aka Republic Day. Interestingly, it is a day later when 2.0 was scheduled for a release after being postponed from Diwali this year. Speculations are rife that the makers would now postpone 2.0 and release it in April instead. April 13th was the day when Twinkle Khanna’s debut production project was scheduled for a release. In fact, even trade analyst Taran Adarsh had tweeted about the postponement of Rajinikanth starrer but later he deleted the tweet, which has left the fans curious.
At the music launch, Akshay spoke about his experience of working on 2.0 with Rajinikanth. “Rajini sir is the real superstar. I would like to thank Shankar sir for giving me the opportunity of working with a legend like Rajinikanth. I could’ve never imagined that I will get a chance to work in such a big and costly film like ‘2.0′. I have done 130 films (in Bollywood). ‘2.0′ was my 131st film. I can only say that during the making of those 130 films, I got to learn little from every film, but I was learning throughout the shooting of this film,” Akshay said.
