Stand-up comedian and actor Vir Das, who has a good fan following on Twitter, came up with a rather quirky way of helping people find their soul mate, keeping in mind the plot of his upcoming venture – Amit Sahni Ki List. As part of a promotional activity, the actor was part of a Twitter activity, where he tweeted several lists of perfect attributes, that one seeks in their dream partner. Before starting off the activity, the actor had tweeted, “YOU READY?? Rules: Everyone has a list. We make yours. I give you options. You reply with your choice. Use the hash tag #AmitSahniKiList.” Eight different lists followed after this tweet and Das was flooded with several tweets from fans. Post this activity, the makers are planning many more online promotional contests in the future to promote the film.

 

Arjun Kapoor joins Twitter

Despite making an attempt to stay away from social media platforms, Arjun Kapoor was finally convinced by sister Anshula to join the bandwagon, just a day before his birthday last week. The actor made a late night appearance on his account – @arjunk26 – where his tweet proved that Anshula was indeed helping him take baby steps into the digital world. “I am being tutored by @anshulakapoor as we speak on how to handle my handle.” Within hours of his Twitter debut, the actor was flooded with welcome tweets from all his industry friends, including Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh among others.
