Basking in the glory of ‘The Xposé’s’ success, actor – composer Himesh Reshammiya confirmed that a sequel of the film is definitely on the cards and will include state-of-the-art visual effects, better music and great locations.

While speaking about the film, Reshammiya said, “The Xposé is my dad’s first film as a producer and I am extremely happy that I have given him a hit and add to that, a franchise. The process of getting into the character of Ravi Kumar has been a long and hard process, but the success has given us full confidence to go ahead with a sequel and we will definitely surprise the audience with double the energy in the second instalment.”

According to director Anant Mahadevan, the sequel will have a bigger ensemble cast compared to the first film and the team will get down to finalising the details by July – August.

They have also planned a lavish success party, that was earlier scheduled to take place at Liberty cinema in Mumbai, keeping in mind the plot of the film. But since the invitees list became big, there has been a change of plan and the team will now celebrate at a suburban hotel with an R.D. Burman themed party, where the sequel will also be formally announced.

Post this, Reshammiya is planning to take a week long break and then, he will undergo nine months of training to work on his character for the sequel. He will reprise the role of Ravi Kumar, but in a new setting.
