Dharma Productions Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania was shot primarily in cities in Punjab. Here, the cast of the film which includes Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and TV actor Siddharth Shukla were snapped when shooting in Chandigarh. Both Dhawan and Bhatt play Punjabi characters in the film which is a love story replete with anguish and heartbreak. Helmed by debutant Shashank Khaitan it is slated to release in July this year.

 

Bombay Velvet wraps up

The shooting of Bombay Velvet wrapped up on April 15 in Mumbai. Now only a days shoot is left, which will be filmed in Kolkata but this shoot does not require the main cast of the film. The film is set in the 60s and a major part was filmed at a set of Mumbai created in Sri Lanka. Bombay Velvet which is directed by Anurag Kashyap talks about how the city of Mumbai became a metropolis against love, greed, violence and jazz music. The cast includes Raveena Tandon, Karan Johar, Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Kay Kay Menon. The film which is produced by Fox Star Studios and Phantom Films is slated for a December 25 release.

 

NH10 in Jodhpur

NH10 which took off in January this year is presently being shot in Jodhpur. The 40 days schedule in Rajasthan will see the completion of the film after which only a few days of shooting will be left. The thriller stars Anushka Sharma and Neil Bhoopalam and is being directed by Navdeep Singh known for his critically acclaimed Manorma Six Feet Under. Sharma
turns producer with the film and which she is co-producing with Phantom Films under her banner Clean Slate Films.
