Negative twist in Ekk Nayi Pehchan
Just as Sakshi (Krystle D’Souza) is helping and motivating her mother-in-law Sharda (Poonam Dhillon), new characters will be introduced in the show that will prove to be the proverbial stumbling blocks. With the introduction of Dadi bua, an extremely orthodox woman with rigid views, the story is poised to take an interesting turn. Actress Kavita Vaid has been roped in to play the role, and she makes her displeasure apparent at the idea of Sharda taking a formal education. Apart from this, a fresh face Gauri will share screen space with Vaid, playing Dadi bua’s daughter-in-law, Bhagwanti. Talking about this character, Vaid says, “My character Dadi bua is quite unique for me. My entry in the show will lead to conflicts between the younger and older generations.” Meanwhile, Sharda is also counselling Sakshi to win over her husband. With Dadi bua’s entry, the show will have a slightly negative twist.
