Actress Tannishtha Chatterjee will be seen opposite former Australian fast bowler Brett Lee in UnIndian, first feature film that is being helmed by Australia India Film Fund (AIFF). Directed by Anupam Sharma, the romantic comedy focuses on the complexities of the Indian diaspora in Australia. The plot revolves around a divorcee and single mother, Meera played by Tannishtha, who meets Will played by Brett Lee. While Meera is not ready for marriage, it is a topic of regular discussion with her family and she eventually develops a bond with Will.
Chatterjee, who was unable to divulge much details about her character in UnIndian, added, “I am excited to work with Brett Lee. I am an avid fan of cricket and I am looking forward to working with one of the legends of cricket.”
Chatterjee also confirmed that while she has finished shooting for Leena Yadav’s Parched, she is currently shooting for Ananth Mahadevan’s Rough Book in Mumbai which is based on the education system of India.
