MTV Splitsvilla 7 will see Sunny Leone as a co-host alongside VJ Nikhil Chinappa. The already popular show is known for its high-end drama involving romance and games. Ask Leone about her decision of hosting the show, and she says, “MTV is a youth brand and I was always fascinated by its content. After moving to India, I got the opportunity to watch Splitsvilla and enjoyed it quite a bit. It’s a great show, and I’m very excited to be a part of it.”
Earlier, the actress had hosted a horror show called Haunted Nights With Sunny for MTV.


Ranvir Shorey to host Jhalak…

Actor Ranvir Shorey returns to television with Jhalak Dikhla Jaa Season 7. The actor who had begun his career as a television anchor, will once again be seen anchoring the popular dance show on Colors. A source close to the show revealed that, “Looking at Shorey’s fantastic comic timing during stressful situations in Khatron Ke Khiladi we thought that he would be the best choice for Jhalak…The creative team is certain that he would do absolute justice to the show.”
On his part, Shorey too is excited about taking up the project as he is a big fan of Madhuri Dixit Nene, who is one of the judges on the show. He also shares a long standing bond with one of the contestant, Purab Kohli. The channel also revealed that they are in talks with a female co-host, who will be finalised soon.


Big Magic launches a new show titled Ajab Gajab…

Big Magic’s next show titled Ajab Gajab Ghar Jamai is a comedy, that turns tradition on its head by bringing the son-in-law home, rather than sending the daughter to her sasural. The show stars Himani Shivpuri in the role of nani-saas, Sumit Vats will be playing the son-in-law who works hard to win her over.
Talking about the show, Shivpuri says in jest, “I have been a part of a lot of sitcoms, but I couldn’t refuse this role of naniji. It has a unique concept revolving around a family of jamais. And as the matriarch of the family, it is my character’s duty to keep all the nikamma son-in-laws in line.”
