To spike up its viewership, Sony Entertainment Television (SET) is taking all the possible steps. The channel has recently announced two new shows — Humsafars and Itni Si Khushi — that will go on air in the coming weeks.
Humsafars, a 4 Lion’s production, is set in a Muslim milieu and revolves around the life of Arzoo (Shivya Pathania) and Sahir (Harshad Chopra) who are poles apart from each other in terms of personality. “The story is about Arzoo, a budding fashion designer, meeting Sahir, a multi-millionaire and owner of a fashion house and the chemistry that develops between them,” informs a source from the channel.
While Itni Si Khushi that would be replacing Ek Nayi Pehchaan, has been produced by Rajan Shahi and is the story of a 15 year old adolescent, who after a fatal accident lapses into a coma for 12 years. “She wakes up as a 26-year-old adult only to find that she has missed several important years of her life and now wants to re-claim the lost time,” says the source. The show is set in Agra and stars Smriti Kalra and Anuj Sachdev.
