Sayali Bhagat (of The Train fame) is playing a TV reporter in the tri-lingual film Home Stay. The paranormal thriller, which is directed by Santhosh Kodankeri, is about a girl who stays at an Inn in Coorg to discover it is haunted and she experiences paranormal activities. “The film is a thriller and is a murder mystery as well. The film revolves around this TV reporter who experiences paranormal activities. The story is about only one night. It was very difficult shooting the film as I had to maintain both the scared and curious look during the shooting,” says the actor.
The film is scheduled to release in February in three languages, Hindi, Kannada and Tamil. The Hindi version will have Ashmit Patel as a cop, but reports indicate that he may have two or three other dimensions in the film as well.
Sayali Bhagat has another upcoming film titled Choron Ki Barat where she plays a thief who pretends to be a model. The film is an action-comedy and also stars Arya Babbar. The film is 90 per cent complete and has been shot in Panchagani.
