Actor Saurabh Pandey, who had made his debut with Siddhartha Basu’s first fiction show, Jiya Jale and went on to do shows like Ganga Ki Dheej, Tere Mere Sapne among others, shall venture into television production. The actor recently announced his production company, White Light Army Pictures.
The first project of the production house is, Tujhse Hi Raabta – an Indo-Pak venture that will be directed by Nivedita Basu. It’s a love story co-starring Saurabh Pandey and Dubai-based Pakistani actor Yasir Shah.
The tele-film will be aired in Pakistan first and then on Zindagi. “Making this film was nothing less than an honour for me. The film, I am hoping, will help the actors across borders come together. It has been directed beautifully and the script is extremely strong,” says the actor, who wants to produce more such properties that make a point. However, for the time being, Pandey has also signed on another show as an actor that will be telecast on one of the major general entertainment channels. “I will make the announcement by the end of the month,” he concludes.
