The debut production venture of Ranbir Kapoor and Anurag Basu under their banner Picture Shuru Productions’, Jagga Jasoos that was slated to release in September or October this year has now been pushed and will release in 2015. The film will be presented by Disney UTV. The spokesperson of the company confirmed, “Disney’s Jagga Jasoos, directed by Anurag Basu and starring Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif and Govinda, will release on May 29, 2015, the first Friday after the end of the IPL season next year.”
The film has been postponed because of prior commitments of the lead actors, Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif. Kapoor, who is busy shooting for Bombay Velvet which was scheduled to release on Christmas day, will in all probability be pre-poned to avoid a clash with the Aamir Khan-starrer P.K.
Meanwhile, Kaif is also busy with two films, the Hrithik Roshan-starrer, Bang Bang and Saif Ali Khan-starrer Phantom.
