Actress Priyanka Chopra, who had stepped into the shoes of a voice over actress for the original English version of the Disney film, Planes, last year, has now been roped in to dub for the Hindi version as well. Chopra, who was busy with the promotions of her recently released film Mary Kom, took time out from her schedule and allotted two days for the project, since it was a commitment she had made while signing the contract of the original version. The actress finished recording her portions last week.
A source close to the project added that while the actress won’t be heard singing, she has done a very good job with the voice and has done perfect justice to the character. Although the Hindi version of the film won’t get a theatrical release, it will be premiered on television and will be available on home video as well.
