Always wanted to get into Singham’s shoes and say, Aata majhi satakli, while thrashing up one enemy after another? Well, look no further, because developers Reliance Games has launched two exciting games based on the sequel of actor Ajay Devgn’s recent release, Singham Returns. While Singham Returns – The Game is a fun endless runner, Singham Returns – Takedown allows the player to get into the action mode and drive on the streets of Mumbai, while knocking down approaching enemies.
Singham Returns – The Game, has the gamer playing as the lead protagonist, while sprinting across the streets of Mumbai in an endless runner. Here, the player can test their strength, while collecting coins (to help earn upgrades) and thrashing the corrupted enemies, as Singham jumps, kicks the enemies and whips them with his belt. The developers have done a great job with the graphics, which presents the beautiful city of Mumbai in five different environments and five gripping battles that keep you entertained. The player can unlock different weapons, but the primary ones range from coconuts, trash bins among others.
The second one, Singham Returns – Takedown makes for a well designed, smooth racing game, where the player must choose from a range of five vehicles (which range from an SUV, sports car and even a tank). Although in the beginning, the player can make do only with the Tata Safari Storm, you can unlock the other vehicles as you progress ahead in the game. The basic game involves the player, as Bajirao Singham, racing on the Mumbai Sea-link to knock down opponents (who are transfering cash and other valuable items illegally), while collecting coins and making sure that your car suffers less damage. More the damage, more the loss and the faster your game ends. On the way, you must keep in mind that collecting coins is important, because that will help you in buying upgrades from the store. Cash can be collected on the way to earn unique performance upgrades. The best part about this race is when you drive the car on a specially marked yellow lane, which helps you earn rage (which lasts for a few seconds), that can enable the car to knock down regular traffic, protect your car from damage and help you earn bonus points. Towards the end of every game, the player has to face a criminal, who is driving a vehicle loaded with cash, and knock them down thrice to beat them. What we loved the most was the story narration at the beginning of the game, which includes a photograph of Singham mouthing his popular dialogues from the film, while a constable explains the plot. Don’t miss the part where your car earns rage and Singham screams, Aata majhi satakli. Pure fun! Both the games include exclusive in-game features which can be played only in the online mode, while the player can opt for in-app purchases as well. But despite everything, both the Singham Returns games make for a power – packed, entertaining ride and that too, for free.
