While actors thrive on the attention that they get from their fans, sometimes handling their frenzy can get a bit too much. At the recent music launch of his film Main Tera Hero, at a suburban mall, Varun Dhawan almost regretted the offer to his fans to come on stage and shake a leg with him. No sooner had he uttered the words, a bevy of young girls stormed the stage. They not only gheraoed him, but in all the commotion, one girl planted a kiss on his cheek, much to the amazement of the actor and those present. Recovering his composure, Dhawan quickly retreated from the scene. Guess, the public display of affection was too hot for the actor to handle.
At an event held recently, Amitabh Bachchan was asked if, as a child, he was ever scared of ghosts or if those around him gave him any mantra to protect him from such problems. The actor laughed it off and quipped, “Bachpan mein hum aisi baatein sunte rehte thain. Although I was never scared of ghosts, I was definitely carried away by superheroes. When Superman released, hum sab aisa sochte the ke peeche chaadar pehen ke hum sab udne lagenge. As a child, even I stood on a window, wearing a bedsheet as my cape and underwear over my pants, while trying to jump off and fly. Little did I know that it’s not going to work.” He added that everyone around saved him before he took flight! Well, he’s made up for lost time by being quite the superhero in reel life!
A secret admirer
Having a secret admirer is not news when it comes to actors. However, a fan of Pooja Chopra of Commando fame is completely smitten by her and showers her with special gifts on every occasion. What’s more, at this year’s Valentine’s Day, Pooja received a bouquet, a card with warm wishes and a two-month old cute Labrador along with a guide book on how to look after puppies and his food manual.
He stated that he was aware of Pooja’s preferences and her love for dogs.
