The cast for Soni Razdan’s Love Affair has finally been put together. While Arjun Rampal and Chandan Roy Sanyal have stellar roles in the film, Vinod Bhanushali, President and Marketing Head of T-Series, who is co-producing the film confirmed that Kalki Koechlin will be playing the female lead in the project that is loosely based on the infamous Nanavati murder case of 1959.
Rampal will be seen in the role of Sylvia Nanavati’s lover Prem Ahuja who was shot down by her husband and Naval commander K.M. Nanavati, which will be played by Gulshan Devaiah. Chandan Roy Sanyal will play the character modeled on famous lawyer Ram Jethmalani who was the Special Public Prosecutor in the case.
Bhanushali stated that Kalki has been roped in to play the protagonist in the film. “However we would like to maintain that the film is not based on Sylvia Nanavati’s life. We are just taking portions from a real life incident and creating a fictionised account.”
