Actor-director, Kabir Sadanand is back on the small screen with a thriller, Friends Conditions Apply that is currently being telecast on Channel V. Sadanand who has produced the show, gives the viewer a cinematic experience. Braving extreme climatic conditions with temperatures dipping to zero degrees, the first few episodes have been filmed in Rohtang near Manali, which is 12,000 feet above sea level.
” The series is a thrilling hostage drama. All the actors are newcomers and I have been having a fantastic time shooting in Rohtang. But there are some hurdles that the team faced. Foremost being delivering dialogues in the freezing cold. Some days, we would have sunshine, but when we returned to shoot the next day at the same spot, the place would be covered in four feet of snow. We had to postpone the shooting as we were shooting some cricket sequences. Besides, we had to travel for two hours to reach the location so on some days, we had to wake up at 3 am in order to begin shooting at 7 am.”
The 52 episode mini-series traces the story of how a group of close friends go for an outing, but suddenly one of the girls, Shakti, risks the lives of her fiends by staging a kidnap just to save her Baba.
The show airs from Monday to Wednesday at 5.30 pm on Channel V.
