After her riveting performance in Queen, Kangana Ranaut has been on every film-maker’s wishlist. And she has a clutch of films to prove that. They include Anand L. Rai’s Tanu Weds Manu Returns in which she plays a double role for the first time. Ranaut has also started filming for Nikhil Advani’s Katti Batti, with Imran Khan, not to forget there’s Reema Kagti’s Mr. Chalu and Sai Kabir’s Divine Lovers. The news is that director Hansal Mehta who had made the critically acclaimed Shahid and is presently working on a biopic with Manoj Bajpayee is keen to cast the actress in a woman-centric film. When we contacted the film-maker’s spokesperson she said, he did not wish to comment. But reportedly, the film’s script is incredible and is the story of a real life achiever who climbs Mount Everest! Though there are several women who have achieved this feat, Arunima Sinha’s story is the most inspiring. She is the girl from Uttar Pradesh who lost her leg after she was thrown from a moving train and became the first female amputee to climb Everest. Will Kangana play Sinha? Let’s wait and watch!
