If Akshay Kumar will be seen doing some breath-taking action sequences in Holiday-A Soldier Is Never Off Duty, Sonakshi Sinha will surprise the audience with some mean punches, grappling on the basketball field and racing on the tracks. A far cry from her feminine image we are used to seeing, but intriguing nevertheless.
“Sonakshi’s character is interesting and unique and will show a new dimension of her. I would not like to divulge her character now, but I must mention that she worked extremely hard for all the sequences you can see in the trailer. In our upcoming campaigns, we will talk about how she trained for her part,” said Vipul Shah, the film’s producer.
Directed by A. R. Murugadoss who also directed the original Thupakki, which was a superhit in Tamil, Holiday is produced by Shah’s Sunshine Pictures Pvt. Ltd., Reliance Entertainment, Cape Of Good Films and Kumar’s Hari Om Entertainment Company. The film releases on June 6.
