One film old Daisy Shah is in the news for wrong reasons. Apparently an FIR has been registered against the Jai Ho heroine and 18 others at Kanpur’s Kannauj police by Satyendra Singh, a small-time Bhojpuri actor from Mainpuri district, accusing them for conspiring to kill him in December 2013. He alleged that he was thrown out of the film he was to do with Daisy as she wanted to work with a renowned actor. He also alleged that they deliberately rammed a SUV into his car on December 27.

Premier visitors

Shah Rukh Khan had a visitor on the sets of his film Happy New Year in RK Studios, in the form of former president of Mexico Vicente Fox. The actor even posed for a photograph with Fox, his wife Martha and current Mexican Ambassador to India Jamie Nualart. The meeting took place on February 11, wherein they discussed everything about India — its films, its culture and people, as well as about Mexico and the importance of education.

Nitin Raikwar hospitalised

Nitin Raikwar, who wrote blockbuster songs like Aati kya Khandala, Apun bola, Kambakhi Ishq, Khallas, has been hospitalised and is in the ICU. He’ll undergo a delicate brain operation at Mumbai’s Kokilaben Hospital. He was experiencing disorientation and severe headaches for the past few days. On check-up, it was diagnosed as a subdural haematoma of the brain of unknown origin. This was disclosed by Dr. Nitin Gupta, a friend of Raikwar in a press statement.

A slap in the face

A small-time actor Geetika Tyagi has posted a video on YouTube titled Subhash Kapoor’s True Face, and even alleged in her tweets that she was assaulted by Kapoor more than a year ago. The 31-minute video shows Kapoor and his wife pleading with and trying to pacify a sobbing Tyagi, who slapped Kapoor across his face. Recorded by Tyagi without the Kapoors’ knowledge, the video went viral and has had nearly 40,000 hits.
