Even as reports about Fawad Khan being part of director Shakun Batra’s second film (after Ek Main
Aur Ekk Tu) to be produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, are making the rounds, another news has come to light.
The Pakistani actor, who has a huge female fan following in India, is in talks with the producers of Madamji, which has Priyanka Chopra playing the protagonist, for a role in the film. Though it is not known for what part he has been approached for, it will be interesting to watch Chopra and Khan together
We messaged Ram Mirchandani, co-producer of the film for a confirmation, but he did not revert.
As for Khan doing Johar’s film, the producer-director recently posted a clarification on twitter ‘No official cast announced from @DharmaMovies on @shakunbatra’s next film! Please await an official announcement from our end….(sic)
But the talk doing the rounds is that the real reason for the actor not having signed the Dharma film as yet is that he is not comfortable with the fact that at the end of the film it will be revealed that his character is gay!
