While on Lingaa, it was quite touching to see a father fiercely protecting his daughters from prying eyes. During the music launch of the film in Chennai, Rajinikant was asked by one of the crew members to call Soundarya Rajinikant on stage as she is the Director, Creative & Head of Eros Digital for South India and the film’s music was being released by Eros Music. But the father simply nodded his head indicating that he preferred Soundarya and her sister Aishwarya to remain seated with their mother Latha in the auditorium and not make their presence too obvious. Soundarya also obliged and took a backseat.
Days later when the film was released on December 12, which also happened to her father’s birthday, Soundarya got very emotional.
“I am ecstatic and proud at the same time. The overwhelming response we received in the morning of the release is something I cannot express in words. My mother, sister, brother-in-law and I caught the afternoon show and it was amazing to watch the film in a cinema hall with dad’s fans after a long time.”
So here is a daughter who also is a big fan of the Thalaiva
