In the name of a star

After wrapping Haider in the snow-clad mountains of Kashmir, Shahid Kapoor took  some time off his busy schedule to ring in his birthday on the beaches of Goa. The actor decided to spend the day partying on the streets of Goa with his close friends, which included his trainer Abbas Ali and disc jockey Ankytrixx. But what really took the cake was the way his fans, who call themselves Shanatics, celebrated the day. While they named a star in the galaxy after the actor among other things last year, some of the special gifts this year included charity to an all girl’s organisation based in Mumbai called Aamcha Ghar, the best cake contest, videos as tributes, customised gift items among others. Now, that’s taking fan-dom to another level!

Divya Dutta was seen pampering her mother at an event recently. It was really cute to watch the mother-daughter duo as Divya saw to it that her mother got a comfortable seat to sit. Later while she was quite choosy about what she ate, she saw that her mother, Dr Nalini Dutta, tried all her favourite delicacies that were on display.
The duo later planned to catch a film and Divya was heard saying that more than watching the film, what her mother loves at the theatre was the piping hot samosas which she had without fail. Dutta Sr was seen smiling softly.
